Last week, Andrew posted a challenge that he called the “#7DaysOfTruth” challenge. Each day, he shared a story from his life that influenced his perspective and impacted his future. We were struck by the consistent theme of family in his stories. He has graciously given us permission to share his video and interview him about his family. Check out his amazing story and read the full interview in our facebook community: Your Way Home.
Quotes from our interview with Andrew:
“I was definitely naïve in what it took to raise a kid. I thought just being there was enough, but it most certainly wasn’t. My marriage is what has made us successful parents. I have no doubt my wife could raise children that grow up to change the world, but I doubt I could do it without her”
“Having all these people in my life has shown me time and time again why family is so important. We all have our own demons and our own struggles — sometimes even with our own family members — but at the end of the day, these are the people who are going to be there for you when no one else is.”
“Life’s too short to be serious all the time, and keeping the humor alive is a fantastic way to stay upbeat in the face of your poopy moments.”
“gain patience anyway you can before you have to start teaching a child how to live in the world.”
Thank you Andrew for sharing a part of your life with us!
